.  LUCIFER'S LAIR   . rises like a crown of glass and gold, the Capital of Hell where every spire reflects ambition, every boulevard is a runway for reputation, and every citizen walks with their own carefully curated image. The city moves to the rhythm of self-importance, from gilded council chambers to sunlit plazas where speeches and displays of skill are as sharp as blades. Reputation is weaponized, status jealously guarded, and no gesture is too grand when it can elevate one a notch higher in the hierarchy. In Lucifer's ring of Hell, pride is not only natural, it's also unavoidable; a constant contest to be the one who towers tallest, shines brightest, and leaves the deepest mark in what is already a hellish pit.

.  VOIDLINE CROSSING   . stretches across the central point of Hell like a glowing fault line. Part highway nexus, part border choke-point, and always swollen with restless, yearning traffic. The lines coil like serpents, not to manage the crowd, but to make it watch as others move ahead: faster lanes, stamped papers, gates that open for someone who looks just a little more worthy. The guards are the arbiters of that worth, draped in smug authority and armed with clipboards that matter more than weapons. On these roads, envy runs rampant, pairing the overlooked beside the favoured, letting admiration curdle into resentment as they watch their better selves drive off to a better future.

.  INFERNIS   . is where factories roar with furnace engines fuelled not by coal, but by the boiling anger siphoned from exhausted workers, their frustration pumped through pipes like steam. Here, boiling frustration flows into more than production; it powers Hell’s military bastion, where armoured barracks crouch beside smokestack furnaces and entire regiments drill beneath skies stained with soot. Beyond it, gilded district rise high, where factory magnates and arms merchants dine under crystal chandeliers, their wealth built on the ceaseless fury and labor of those burning below. In Infernis, wrath doesn't explode, it simmers, its productivity sharpened to an edge, to a labor that burns, and a skyline forever lit by the glow of anger made useful.

THE SCARLET LETTER
An establishment that has roots dug deep into the foundations of society. On the surface, it is a mere gang that participates regularly in the underground fighting arena, where lost souls flock to to find a sense of belonging, where fists and strength serve as rungs of power to climb. But beneath it all, a darker current of fighter / human trafficking, weapon trafficking goes on, spreading tendrils slowly but surely wherever it can wedge an inch of its influence. Members of the gang are known to be tattooed with a scarlet numeral or letter. Be capable, show your worth and you just might get a chance to prove yourself.

  • (1/1) Owner: Ran Su-a, “Khiara”

  • (0/10) The SentinelsTen Individuals each with their own specific set of capabilities & fighting skill. Here, innovation is the true currency, and every hammer stroke is a declaration of superiority. Workshops spill neon sparks into the streets, each one a shrine to some manic maker desperate to craft the next masterpiece before a rival pilfers the blueprint, bribes an apprentice, or slips a little sabotage into the gears. Knowledge is locked away in vaults, encoded in sigils, traded like contraband, yet the city dazzles because its citizens refuse to ever be outdone. In Cinderpoint, greed doesn’t rot, it ignites. It drives artisans to brilliance, inventors to obsession, and the whole economy into a spiraling waltz where everyone is competing, everyone is watching, and only the most dazzling creation earns the right to exist.

LORE

One truth remains:

Hell is not punishment, nor refuge.
It is the mirror of all that falls, and the throne of all that hungers.

─── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ───

In the beginning, there was the fall. Not of kingdoms or souls, but of angels.Hell was not always the sprawling inferno it is now. Once it was nothing but a silent chasm beneath Creation, a barren pit where the first damned spirit screamed in the dark. But with each mortal sin, another soul tumbled downward. A whisper became a chorus, the chorus became a nation, and from suffering, Hell found purpose. The Hellborn were the first to rise from the ash—creatures forged by the realm itself, shaped from fire, instinct, and hunger for power. They built the earliest cities from bone and brimstone, carving territories with claws and ambition. Then came the Sinners, the fallen dead. Humans stained with sins severe enough to damn them here. They arrived in waves: murderers, tyrants, liars, the lost and the wicked. Their arrival changed everything. Sinners brought chaos. They built empires of crime and pleasure that even demons envied, and from that bloodshed, the first Overlords rose. Sinners, only they slaughtered their way to dominance. They seized territories, commanded their brethren, and carved their names into Hell’s history under the watchful eye of those who fell with Him.Of the angels.Long before humanity understood sin, there was the Ars Goetia, an ancient royal lineage born of primordial Hellfire and divine rejection. They were the first nobles, the architects of demon hierarchy, and to this day their sigils and crowns hold old, terrible authority. Their dynasties shaped Hell into something structured, if only barely. Yet even the Goetia bow to the strongest power of all: sin.Seven sovereign embodiments of vice itself. Pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony, and lust. They did not rise; He fell, and the rest awakened. Formed from the collective corruption of mankind, they are as eternal as desire, as endless as human weakness. Their influence poisons every alley, every deal, every heartbeat, shaping Hell not through law, but through vice. Now Hell stands as a realm of rings and chaos, neon and nightmares, constant expansion and endless conflict.Every year more souls arrive.Every year the power shifts. And every year, Hell falls deeper into sin.

Some streets shine with ambition. where every glance is a wager, every strep a challenge, alliances, any kind of influence that can break or save a soul. Somewhere beneath it all, the restless race, scheming through hidden veins of the city, bending rules, outrunning rivals, chasing sparks that ignite only in chaos. Pride’s towers watch over all, where reputation is power, and every gesture carries weight. Envy coils through the veins of the city, twisting desire into competition and turning every glance at another into fuel for action.Instincts where wrath simmers, fire and fury forge strength; almost like was like he was summoned by the chaos itself, drawn from the flames of anger and the pulse of violence that runs through the veins. As we all know, controlled violence becomes mastery. In slothful halls, brilliance simmers quietly, ideas and inventions waiting, gathering dust, until a mind daring enough dares to take them into the light. Greed’s gleams with creativity and inventiveness where every penny counts. They reward individuals who can outshine everyone else by revealing secrets and neon sparks in their workshops. Gluttony is overflowing with opportunity, pleasure, and temptation that many crave, showing that desire can be a weapon when it is mastered. Lust’s pulse courses through power and governmental structure, a world where charm, seduction, and wit can bend fate itself.

─── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ───

You've arrived in Hell, the universe’s most aggressively capitalist ecosystem. Redemption? Nope. A break? Absolutely not.
Here, everything has a price, and everyone is for sale.

─── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ───

When a mortal life ends, the soul does not rise or ascend. Instead, it is weighed — not by angels, not by holy hands, but by the sum of its own deeds. Every lie, desire, betrayal, obsession, every hunger that ruled the heart becomes a weight. And the heavier the sin, the faster the fall.

Some drop like meteors, tearing the sky open.
Some drift, pulled slowly, inevitably, as if by a tide they cannot see.
Some go willingly, chasing the very thing that damned them.
When they finally break through the veil, Hell’s districts awaken to greet them.

DISCLAIMER.

In this system, rather than being grouped under the traditional four elements, their variations are treated as distinct forms of elemental manipulation. Each material represents a unique form of control, with its own properties and techniques. What does that mean?
For example, choosing water manipulation only allows control over water in its liquid form—it does not grant the ability to manipulate ice, blood, or other related substances.

Every skill begins at Tier 0, and players may increase tiers using XP earned through writing.
Each new tier represents a meaningful step in development; both narratively and power-wise.
Higher tiers are not just “numbers”. They describe how the world reacts to your character and what kind of feats are believable for them.

Why this pacing works?
Easy growth is fast → new writers can be rewarded after only a few threads.
Middle tears take steady dedication → roughly one major RP arc’s worth.
High tears are prestige ranks → achievable, but only through long-term character writing.

the hierarchy

.  LUCIFER MAGNE.  .  fallen angel, seraphim.
Lucifer is the First Fall, the primordial rebel whose descent carved the very bedrock of Hell and whose shadow still shapes its horizons. To demons, he is the origin; to kings, the crown; to legends, the spark that birthed them. Lucifer is not merely Hell’s ruler—he is its myth, its maker, and the gravity around which its entire history turns.

.  THE SEVEN SINS.  . embodiments.
The Seven Sins are Hell’s primal sovereigns. Ancient embodiments of humanity’s most potent vices, each ruling a vast dominion shaped by their own insatiable nature. Born from the first corrupt stirrings of mortal desire, they are less rulers and more living forces. Together, they form the beating heart of Hell’s hierarchy—feared, revered, and impossible to ignore.

  • .𖤐  LUCIFER (pride) — npc.  .

  • .𖤐  LEVIATHAN (envy) — seol iseul.   .

  • .𖤐  SATAN (wrath) — roh raeheon. .

  • .𖤐  MAMMON (greed) — yoo wontak.   .

  • .𖤐  BELPHEGOR (sloth) — aikwawa yuki.   .

  • .𖤐  BEELZEBUB (gluttony) —   .

  • .𖤐  ASMODEUS (lust) —   han manwol. .

.  THE ARS GOETIA.   .  fallen angels.
Hell’s oldest and most coveted ledger of power. A gilded, time-scarred catalogue of noble demons whose names shaped the very architecture of the underworld. Each Goetic demon wields unique abilities tied to their nature and rank. Some manipulate knowledge, secrets, or human desires while others excel at prophecy, persuasion, or sowing chaos. Though they serve as Lucifer’s sanctioned intermediaries, they also answer to the sin whose dominion they inhabit.

  • .𖤐  MARQUESSES — 0/7  .

  • .𖤐  EARLS — 0/  .

  • .𖤐  KNIGHTS — 0/  .

.  THE OVERLORDS.   .  particularly powerful sinners.
The Overlords are Hell’s ambitious upstarts. Once ordinary sinners whose cunning, ruthlessness, or sheer audacity earned them a permanent seat in the infernal hierarchy. Though far below the Goetia and the Seven Sins in power and prestige, they wield authority over their own swaths of sinners, carving out territories and influence through guile, loyalty, or intimidation.

.  THE SINNERS.   .  condemned humans.
The Sinners are the remnants of humanity’s flawed and forsaken, condemned to hell by the weight of their own sins rather than born from infernal lineage. They occupy the lower rungs of Hell’s hierarchy, beneath the Sins, the Goetia, and even the Overlords. While they lack true authority or power, their sheer numbers, unpredictability, and lingering mortal desires make them a constant presence in Hell, shaping its chaos and providing both fuel and fodder for the realm’s higher-ranking demons.

.  THE HELLBORN.   .  succubi, hellhounds, etc.
Often overlooked, the Hellborn fill the base of Hell’s population, performing menial tasks or serving as cannon fodder in the infernal hierarchy. Though they are true natives of Hell, their infernal birth grants little advantage. Unlike Sinners or higher-ranking demons, who can generally only be slain by angelic weapons or extraordinary power, Hellborn are fragile and expendable, capable of being killed in a variety of ways, making their lives precarious and their existence constantly at risk

The ever-changing hierarchy

Positions within the hierarchy aren’t forever fixed. Hell is ever-changing, and as one gains power, their rank shifts accordingly. By earning XP and advancing through skill tiers, your combat abilities grow, eventually allowing you to challenge or hold your own against beings ranked above you.𖤐 ┆︎ Newly introduced muses have immunity for the first 2 months following their introduction. This is to give them ample time to accumulate points and avoid being at an immediate disadvantage compared to established characters.𖤐 ┆︎  Smaller disputes do not require use of this system. Characters may argue, threaten, shove, throw a punch, or even briefly clash without it escalating into a formal fight. These moments are treated as narrative conflict, not rank challenges, and can be stopped at any point by either party. If players want a sense of realism, the spreadsheet may still be referenced to determine who would likely have the upper hand in a short exchange, but no official wins, losses, demotions, promotions, or permanent consequences apply. Only conflicts that are clearly declared and mutually understood to be full fights fall under the system—everything else remains flexible, story-driven RP.𖤐 ┆︎  Contracts and pacts may be factored into the system and can grant a character additional points on paper, representing borrowed power, infernal backing, or conditional boosts tied to those agreements. However, physical third-party interference during a conflict does not contribute toward the loss or gain of rank. Even if allies step in, restrain someone, or turn the tide of a fight through force, those actions are considered external influence and do not count toward an official win or loss under the hierarchy. Unfortunately, rank changes must be earned directly between the involved parties as defined by the system, not through physical intervention by others.𖤐 ┆︎ Keep in mind that while nobility may be earned, Ascension has limits. You may claim the noble titles associated with Ars Goetia, but you can never become Ars Goetia yourself. These beings are unique in origin: fallen angels, celestial entities who descended rather than died. Their nature cannot be replicated, inherited, or earned through strength alone.𖤐 ┆︎  Conflicts between individuals of the same rank do not result in any change of position or status. These clashes may settle grievances or establish reputations but ultimately leave the established hierarchy intact.𖤐 ┆︎  One may not challenge the muse to whom they have sold their soul, as the bond of ownership binds their will and strips them of the right to severe defiance.

THE GUIDELINES

literate, closed & mewe based. dead dove content featuring characters from different backgrounds. inspiration taken from Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Dungeon and Dragons, Welcome to Derry, Dead by Daylight and many others.

𖤐 ┆︎ We aim to preserve a friendly, engaging atmosphere for everyone. Hostility will not be tolerated.𖤐 ┆︎ This roleplay draws inspiration from Hazbin Hotel and various horror-based media. It will feature dark, heavy, and potentially taboo themes, as the story takes place in Hell. If that makes you uncomfortable we ask you to spare yourself the discomfort and not join.𖤐 ┆︎  Please do not purposefully try to do harm to others and ensure that you appropriately tag anything that might be harmful. We will do our best to protect our members, but you are still responsible for your own triggers. Keep in mind that we do not permit graphic descriptions of extreme torture or mutilation. Not even in backgrounds.

───────── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ─────────

ACTIVITY

𖤐 ┆︎ We accept new members every Sundays on 9pm KST. There are two different applications to choose from, depending on the type of muse you are applying for. One for the sins, and one for the rest. Since we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis and there are only six available Sins, we’ve added a few questions to ensure some thought goes into the muse prior to joining the roleplay. For that reason, you can only pre-reserve a faceclaim, and not the classification.𖤐 ┆︎  There will be bi-weekly activity checks. To pass, you will be required to submit three pieces of activity (thread starters, thread replies, or self-paras). If you are using two muses, you will need to meet this requirement for each muse, meaning five pieces of activity per character rather than shared between them. If you fail to submit your form in time, you will be removed from the roleplay. If you need a hiatus, please reach out to us.

───────── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ─────────

GENERAL

𖤐 ┆︎  All characters, faceclaims and muns must be at least twenty-one years old. There will be absolutely no exceptions.𖤐 ┆︎  At the moment we only accept faceclaims from the asian entertainment industry. We do not accept instagram models, anyone who has expressed they do not wish to be roleplayed, deceased or problematic celebrities. We review faceclaims on a case-by-case basis, and may ask you to change your chosen faceclaim if an issue arises.𖤐 ┆︎ As of now, we'll allow two muses per person. However, we ask that you take on what you can reasonably handle.

. PLEASE NOTE THAT,  .

  • You must pass an activity check with your first muse before you can acquire a second one.

  • You cannot have a second muse of the same rank as your first, unless both muses are Hellborn or Sinner.

  • Your faceclaim for the second muse cannot be from the same group as your first muse’s faceclaim.

  • When you drop a character, you need to wait for 2 weeks before applying for a new one.

───────── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ─────────

Characters

𖤐 ┆︎  No lore is considered canon beyond what is provided on the carrd, and that is all you are expected to follow while crafting your muse. They don’t need to be based on a specific Ars Goetia from the Lesser Key of Solomon or a particular Overlord from Hazbin Hotel. It is entirely up to you and what you feel is right for the role you are applying for. It still needs to make sense though. Note that the lore for the Seven Sins is a bit more fixed, so there is less flexibility when creating muses for those roles.𖤐 ┆︎  What becomes canon is determined by our members: the characters they craft, what they write, the connections those characters make. Bad things do happen though. Characters might die, get injured, etc. Please understand that before applying, as certain elements could be triggering.𖤐 ┆︎ As mentioned above, our members develop the plot. That also means one character's actions may create a ripple effect that reverberates through the stories of other characters. Sometimes that effect is positive, and other times it's negative. This is highly encouraged though, so don’t be intimidated! The focus is on enjoying how your character reacts to situations. What happens in-character should never be taken personally or reflect on anyone out-of-character. That does not mean you can be inconsiderate of people's boundaries, however. If discomfort is expressed, please adjust accordingly.𖤐 ┆︎ You may intertwine personal headcanons but any major changes or additions to your muse’s lore should be developed through writing.𖤐 ┆︎ We do NOT allow racebending. Your muse must accurately portray the cultural, gender and racial identity of the idol/model they represent. Any attempt to alter, rewrite, or appropriate their ethnicity will result in rejection or removal.𖤐 ┆︎ The first faceclaim change is free, but any subsequent changes will require an item from the Infernal Market.𖤐 ┆︎  As a sinner or overlord, your muse has died and been sent to Hell, where they’ve assumed a new identity. And as a Sin, Goetia, or Hellborn, your muse is assigned one the moment they come into existence, since a demon can only be controlled by its true name. As such, every character joining the roleplay must use an alias. This will also be the name of your MeWe account. While your muse will remember their real name, it needs to be kept secret from others and should only be revealed to a higher ranked demon when making deals. The Seven Sins, however, are aware of the names of all beings residing in their dominion.𖤐 ┆︎ All sinners remember their mortal life, their choices and the reason why they are in Hell. They are free to share that information as they please.

───────── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ─────────

OBOLS

𖤐 ┆︎  Deals are made to gain more power and influence, for both parties involved. Obols are the main currency of Hell and represent the spiritual value of your soul. Deals must be mutually agreed upon out-of-character. Tricking another muse is allowed in-character, but the mun must always consent. Non-consensual trades do not count and will be considered void.

───────── ⋆ 𖤐 ⋆ ─────────

XP

𖤐 ┆︎  Please note that XP cannot be transferred or given to another muse, be it your own or someone else's.

the power bank

.  THE NATURE OF POWER BANK.  .
Every high-ranking entity possesses a reservoir of infernal energy known as their Power Bank. This energy can be traded to others (Sinners, Hellborn, or even other demons) in exchange for servitude, allegiance, or souls. Each Favor (F) represents a measurable fragment of infernal might that can be directly converted into skill progression.

STARTING POWER BANK

itemFavorsdescription
The Seven Sins                               100 FPrimal embodiments; their energy is vast but precious.
Ars Goetia60Old nobility; command great, but not endless.
Overlords30Infernal upstarts; their energy burns fast and costs dearly.
Sinners / Hellborns.0Can only ever make pacts, will never have Favors of their own to give.

THE EXCHANGE RULE. favors can be directly exchanged for skill tiers. Each deal permanently transfers a portion of the demon’s essence into the recipient, increasing one of their skills.

EXCHANGE RATE

15 F+1 Tier in any 1 SkillA significant pact, dangerous but tempting.
25 F+2 Tiers in any 1 SkillA major bargain, grants real power at serious cost.
40 F+3 Tiers in any 1 SkillA cataclysmic pact, utterly transformative, rarely offered.
  • Every F given away permanently drains the donor’s Power Bank.

  • If the Bank reaches 0, further trades cost the donor their own skill tiers.

  • Power cannot be created, only redistributed—demons who overextend themselves risk losing rank.

RECLAIMING POWER

Power in Hell is never permanent.
Every pact leaves a mark—a metaphysical tether that connects donor to recipient. That bond ensures the patron may reclaim what was given under the right conditions

A DONOR MAY RECLAIM POWER WHEN...

  • ...the Pact is broken. The recipient fails to uphold their end of the bargain, betrays terms, or violates the command.

  • ...the Recipient surrenders the power willingly. Through agreement, repentance or negotiation, the recipient releases the tiers that were granted.

  • ...the Recipient is erased. Due to inactivity, departure, etc, all borrowed energy returns to its source.

  • ...an item is used. Certain relics—such as the Mirror of Undoing or the Null Brand—may forcibly sever a pact and return some of its energy.

OPTIONAL INTERFERENCES VIA RELICS

  • These items don’t erase debts—they only postpone Hell’s collection.

RelicEffect
Seal of WardingPrevents any power from being reclaimed or forcibly removed for one in-character week.
Obsidian ContractPrevents involuntary reclamation; both parties must agree for energy to return.
Eclipse ShardHides the recipient’s pact marks for a short time, making it harder for the donor to trace and reclaim their power.

THE MECHANICS OF RECLAMATION

  • The demon regains half of the F originally spent.

  • The recipient instantly loses the same number of Skill Tiers that were gained through the pact.

  • If the reclamation occurs through an item, follow that item’s rules (for example, Mirror of Undoing always returns half of the F to the demon)

the infernal economy

.  THE NATURE OF OBOLS.  .
In Hell, power and debt are two sides of the same coin — literally.
Obols are the official infernal currency, forged from condensed soul-ash and marked with the sigil of the Infernal Treasury. Each one hums faintly with the whispers of the damned who paid for its creation. To demons and sinners alike, Obols represent tangible proof of sin, effort, or service - used to buy artifacts, favors, and even freedom.

.  CONVERTING XP INTO OBOLS.  .Experience (XP) earned through writing represents effort, growth, and corruption.Players may convert their XP into Obols to spend on items, relics, and narrative opportunities.

Conversion can happen at any time.Once XP is turned into Obols, it cannot be reclaimed for Tier progression.Obols are tracked separately.
